On 7TH November 2020, Galaxy International School held a Virtual Parent-Teacher Conference with an attendance of 160 parents/guardians. The purpose of the conference was to enable class teachers to share information with parents/guardians regarding their ward’s performance in school, these included but were not limited to report cards, teachers’ comments/feedback, counselling updates, reading follow-up-dates, and upcoming competitions. Parents/guardians were happy to listen to class teachers’ presentations and also gave their input on how to facilitate learning and teaching to make the process an enjoyable one yet educative. The school is putting up a contingency plan based on feedback received during the conference in order to improve online education. On behalf of Management, I wish to express my gratitude to all class teachers and parents/guardians for having made the Virtual PTC a success.
