Science & Makers Fair

It is one of the most interesting events at Galaxy. It gives opportunity to students to apply the knowledge acquired during lessons by preparing a project and presenting it to others. Preparing a science fair project is an excellent example of what education experts call active learning.
”Learning is not a spectator sport. Students do not learn much by just sitting in classes listening to teachers, memorizing  repackaged assignments, and spitting out the answers. They
must talk about what they are learning, write effectively about it, relate it to past experiences and apply it to their daily lives. They must make what they learn part of themselves.”
