Our students were invited to the residence of the European Union’s Ambassador to participate in a tree planting exercise. This exercise was made possible by kind courtesy of Green Way International, an NGO that is into tree planting as a way of contributing to the reduction of Global Warming.
We were received by the Ambassador herself and her team,where she gave us some lectures on the necessity for tree planting, then we zoomed into the tree planting exercise where we were given some seedlings consisting of avocados, mango etc to plant around. The Ambassador took the lead to plant hers and we followed suit. It was in all, a memorable event.
