Early this morning, a group of students from our school joined a Tree Planting exercise held at the residence of the Italian ambassador to Ghana, Mr.Giovanni Favilli, which was organized by Greenway International Foundation in collaboration with the Ambassador of Italy.
The purpose of the tree planting programme is to meet the essential needs of mankind and improve the quality of our environment through periodic tree planting, good management and preservation of trees.
Through this programme our students are embarking on a project to reduce greenhouse gasses and control climate change.
We would like to thank Mr. Favilli for his warm welcome and Greenway International for organizing such a memorable occasion.
