A spelling bee is a popular spelling competition held with students in the Language Department. It was a contest/game to put spelling skills to the test. Students were given words that they must attempt to spell correctly out loud. The event was in front of an impartial judge (the perfect role for teachers and teaching assistants).
The Spelling Bee Competition was in four languages: French, English, Turkish, and Twi. General Knowledge questions and Direct Interpretation in the four enlisted languages were the event’s main focal point.
