Seminar on preparation for End of term Examinations
On the 30th of November 2022, the school’s college counsellor, Mr Farouk Suraj, delivered a seminar for the boys boarding house students. The program was to help the student know some basic strategies for preparing for examinations, such as learning instead of just reading, forming study groups and sharing topics among study group members, knowing your learning style, knowing the learning environment that favours your studies, and peer learning. The program was interactive, and students shared their thoughts and ideas. The students had an opportunity to ask questions, and all their queries were addressed. Hence they were all set to prepare for their examination.
After the program, a video of their previous picnic was played for them to watch. During the previous picnic, they played several games, to which the winners were awarded. The students enjoyed the program.
