MOUNT AFADJATO

A mountain offers a rough terrain, the weather is all over the place, and sometimes, the facilities aren’t that exquisite. But that being said, it is a place of extreme calm and offers so much more than you can imagine. Mount Afadjato runs along the Ghana-Togo border, which views other neighbouring villages, waterfalls, and the Volta lake.
Galaxy Int’l School organised a two day trip to the Volta Region for the Upper Secondary with Mount Afadjato purposely for hiking.
Sure the terrain is rough, and getting to some places seems like a task, but willing to look past that and notice things, we realised that the mountain is filled with beauty. Every bump and fallen rock has a story, and looking beyond the discomfort is when we truly begin to see just how unique the surroundings are.
