The Girls Boarding House joined thousands of people worldwide to celebrate mothers on Sunday, the 8th of May 2022. On a day such as this, we strongly believe that our collective responsibility is to make all mothers feel appreciated for their unconditional love, care, and protection.
As Maya Angelou once said, “people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”
In this regard, the Girls decided to spend Mother’s Day in the neighbourhood, distributing over 50 food items packages to needy mothers.
As an institution, we are proud to say that initiatives like this will go a long way in teaching our students the value of empathy and compassion towards the less fortunate.
