Galaxy International School is looking for teachers to fill the following positions in the Secondary Section for the 2022/2023 Academic Year starting in August 2022.

  1. English Teacher
  2. Mathematics Teacher
  3. Physical Education Teacher
  4. French Teacher
  5. Chemistry Teacher

The successful profile and qualifications

Qualifications

A relevant Bachelor’s degree is desired in the different disciplines.
An International Teaching Qualification or other equivalent teaching qualification.
Have excellent subject knowledge and experience.
Successful international experience in teaching is an added advantage.

We value candidates engaged in Professional Development, who taught students from culturally diverse backgrounds, and who previously lived and worked overseas.

    I am a degree holder from the University of Ghana -Legon.I pursued Pure Mathematics,Economics and Geography and Resource development.Though I haven’t taught profesionally before,teaching is my passion and mathematics was my favorite subject.I don’t have neither national nor international teaching experience,but I seek to work hard and acquire some if given the oppoetunity.8

    Dear Sir or Madam 

    I would be very interested in obtaining an employment position within your esteemed Galaxy International school ,as I have extensive experience of teaching in British schools.
    In the summer of 2020 I was offered by my employers the opportunity to take early retirement from my teaching career. This was because I had completed 25 years of a very successful teaching career and had reached the age of 55 in June 2020
    I taught History, Modern Studies and RME in Secondary Education and thoroughly enjoyed my very rewarding career. I am also trained in Special Needs Education ( SEN) and spent many years devoted to this area of education too.
    I am however looking for an employment position either full time or part time. I have a lot of useful skills and I have an enthusiastic,  caring and empathetic nature and personality. I am very keen to get actively involved in extra curricular clubs and activities . I  can coach football ,  tennis, badminton and canoeing. I would also like to start up  History Club and a Debating Society both of which I really enjoy.

    I read Educational Psychology, Major in Science and minor in Mathematics. Also hold Diploma in Psychology and Foundations of Education in Science and Mathematics. I taught for three years.
