Galaxy International School marks the 63rd Independence Day in grand style.
This day reminds us every year that freedom is sacred and all citizens must contribute their quota to ensure that it is not endangered.
Among the invited guests was the minority chief whip Hon. Mohammed Mubarak Muntaka, and other parents.
The program commenced at exactly 8:00 am with all singing the Ghana national anthem followed by the pledge.
Mr. Edward Bentum, a teacher spoke on the History and significance of the Independence
Day and shed light on this yearβs anniversary.
The spirit of freedom and nationalism was well exhibited by the students through a spectrum of activities such as patriotic poems, songs, dance, and some indigenous Ghanaian games.
Parents were also educated on the need to work effortlessly in promoting peace before, during and after the 2020 general election through a sketch by students.
