Established in 2001, Galaxy International School has been a beacon of academic excellence and innovation in Ghana. From its humble beginnings, the school has grown into one of the most respected international institutions in Accra, providing education from preschool through secondary levels under the motto “Excellence Reigns.”
A seed of dream for a perfect education was planted in 2001 and still growing to make this world a better and peaceful place.
The small seed represents a single idea — that education can transform lives. As the seed sprouts, it reflects roots of values, a stem of knowledge, and leaves of success. Each part symbolizes continuous growth, harmony, and the bright future we nurture every day.
Galaxy International School was founded with a mission to provide holistic, globally competitive education to both local and expatriate students in Ghana. The school quickly gained recognition for its modern teaching methods and emphasis on science and technology.
The first campus was established in East Legon, serving preschool and primary learners. Growing demand led to the opening of the Ashale Botwe Campus, dedicated to secondary education. These campuses formed the foundation of Galaxy’s two-branch system.
With students representing more than 37 nationalities, Galaxy International School has become a cultural hub of diversity and academic achievement. The curriculum integrates Ghanaian and international standards, preparing learners for Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level examinations.
Both campuses remain at the forefront of education technology, equipped with smart boards, laboratories, and modern facilities. Galaxy International School continues to empower students to become confident, innovative leaders ready to shape a better world.
