Galaxy Students Shine in the Economics and Business Challenge (EBC)

This year’s Economics and Business Challenge (EBC) competition was held (online) on the 5th of May, 2023. Galaxy International School presented five students.

Based on the Ghana results, GALAXY received Silver Medal as a Team Award and thus qualified for the World Economics Cup (WEC). On the individual level, all the students presented won several awards ranging from Gold to Bronze:

SELASE AMEDRO – Silver Medal

ZURIELLA AKUAMOAH – Silver Medal

BALCI MEHMET – Silver Medal

JAYLA LITAN – Bronze Medal

We want to congratulate all our candidates for their amazing accomplishments.

The Team has progressed to the next stage, Africa and World round (online). Afterwards, top teams will be interviewed and selected to represent Ghana in the International Economics Olympiad (IEO), held in Greece in July 2023 and Slovakia in September 2023.
