The International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) is an annual global competition in the Natural Sciences for students under sixteen years of age. This year’s contest was held on the 3rd-12th of December, 2019 at Doha, Qatar.
Ghana was ably represented by six students. As a school that places premium on Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM), Galaxy International School presented two students, namely, Hillary Dautey and Ademide Adebanjo. Tough as it was, our representatives worked their ways through to help lift high the flag of Ghana on the international scene as Ademide Adebanjo won a bronze medal at the end of the competition.
We would like to thank the organizers, teachers and the families of the these brilliant students who represented our school in this prestigious international competition.
