Super exciting news from the Ghana Model International UN conference ( GIMUN Conference) 2022, January session as three of our students out of a total delegate of over 500 and 8 awards picked 3 awards at the night.
Guilian Nene Sackitey Narh, a JHS 1 student, picked the award for the best Delegate- under the UNEP committee and representing Ghana.
Zakiyatt Abdulai Layiri, a year 7 student, won the award for the best position paper under the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees( UNHCR) committee and representing Kenya.
Nana Kwabina Nimako Boateng, a year 10 student also was awarded as the most honourable mention of the UNHCR under the representing country, Jordan.
Finally, Galaxy International School was awarded for emerging as the New Discovery School at the conference!
We congratulate all winners and all delegates in general and say, “well done”.
In all the school received four awards from the total awards given.
